Laser Tools Racing, with drivers Aiden Moffat and Ashley Sutton, tried out their new Infiniti Q50 race cars at the official BTCC test day this week held at Silverstone. Corbeau Seats are a proud supporter of the team with both drivers using our FIA 8862:2009 Predator racing seat. Here’s what both drivers had to say after the test day on the car and the season ahead:

Aiden: “This has been a real milestone day for us, our brilliant sponsors and our loyal fans. Our first thoughts are with all of those affected by the coronavirus and it will, of course, affect the racing going forward. Today however we were able to finally put some miles on the Infinity’s and it was an outstanding start. My immediate impression was that the chassis feels fantastic and we are now working on set-up whilst we can. I am sure the car will be a fantastic racer when we see it in action when the championship returns, but at the moment it has been a great start”.

Ash: “It was good to finally get out in the car and first impressions were very positive. At this stage, there are limited things that I can do except test runs and work on the set-up, but the car does feel better than any first time out car that I have driven. I am sure that in time we will have lots of success with it whenever that may be. Until then, it looks good. In fact, very good”.
